How Seepshila works

Three components, one structured pathway: credit-linked courses, personalized training and internship, and final-year project mentorship.

Student journey

Five stages, about six months

  1. Semester break or Sundays

    Credit sessions

A 10-hour credit-linked course: academic credit and an introduction to practical skills.

  2. After credit sessions

    Career counseling

Group and one-on-one sessions; each student leaves with a track and a training plan.

  3. Months 1–3

    Training

Specialized, hands-on training in the chosen track, and a portfolio of practical work.

  4. Months 4–6

    Internship

Supervised work with an industry partner, and a performance record.

  5. After the internship

    Placement

Offered by the industry partner to students who perform well.

Final-year project mentorship (4–6 months) runs alongside these stages.

Component 1

Credit-linked skill courses

Iraa Ventures reviews the university’s course content, then designs a 10-hour, 3-credit-hour course that either connects to the existing syllabus or adds a relevant new course.

Semester break mode

An intensive format that covers the full 10-hour course in one concentrated block.

Sunday mode

A weekly format that runs alongside regular classes, without disrupting the semester timetable.

From syllabus to credit

How a course is designed and delivered

Eight steps, each with a clear owner.

  1. Review the syllabus

Iraa Ventures reviews the existing course content and credit structure.

  2. Find the gaps

Iraa Ventures compares the syllabus with current industry requirements, with industry input.

  3. Design the course

A 10-hour course that maps to three credit hours.

  4. Agree where it fits

Iraa Ventures and the college decide whether it joins an existing unit or stands as a new course.

  5. Approve the credit

The college or university approves the course and recognizes the credit.

  6. Schedule it

Semester break or every Sunday, agreed by the college and Iraa Ventures.

  7. Deliver

Practical, hands-on sessions led by the Iraa trainer panel.

  8. Assess and report

Students are assessed and results reported for credit.

Component 2

Personalized training and internship

Batches of 14–16 students from different colleges, so students learn with peers from other institutions and build a wider professional network.

01

Career counseling

Group sessions introduce the tracks, industry trends and realistic career paths. One-on-one sessions match each student’s interests, aptitudes and goals to a track.

  • A chosen track and a personal training plan
Phase 1
02

Training

Specialized, practical training in the chosen track: trainer-led sessions, hands-on exercises and project work.

  • Demonstrable skills and a body of practical work
Phase 2 · 3 months
03

Internship

Real tasks with an industry partner, under supervision, and a genuine assessment window for the employer.

  • Work experience, an internship record and, for strong performers, a placement offer
Phase 3 · 3 months
Zero net cost to students

The training fee is returned to the student at the end of training. Cost should never be the reason a student can’t take part.

Component 3

Final-year project mentorship

  • Supervision from project selection to delivery
  • A structured project management method
  • Groups of five students, like real project teams
  • Scoping, planning, milestone reviews and evaluation
  • Strong projects may be co-funded by Iraa Ventures toward a startup or market-ready product
